'Taste of India' shuttered - mouse droppings in sauce

An inspector in Calgary ordered a restaurant closed after finding mouse shit throughout the establishment, including in a sauce. The health inspector noted mouse droppings throughout the kitchen and dining room, including on a cart holding spices and sauces by the grill, on top of food ingredient containers, on a stainless steel counter, and around a stand mixer.

Taste of India, located at 1101 14 St. S.W., was ordered to immediately close on Monday following an inspection.
