Qian Qian Hu sentenced to 3 years for role in 2.4 tonne Oz cocaine bust

Chinese national Qian Qian Hu, 37, was a trusted functionary of a massive cocaine shipment. Hu was in a rented Kia Carnival being driven by her partner when it was stopped by cops south of Coolgardie. A search of the vehicle returned $2,087,325 in cash. In April Hu pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering. Hu's former partner Tao Zheng, 39, maintains his innocence and will face trial next year.
