Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. - revisted

Months before the Province suspended Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. licence to operate, the company demanded to have any mention of its many overpass strikes removed from a government website because its employees had been subject to “continuous harassment.” In an email signed by 'Chohan management,' the company cried that the public was expressing displeasure with bad online reviews, phone calls and messages.
Prolific Kelowna criminal Daniel Kozub was busted with a stolen BMW after crooks looted a condo smashed open by a Chohan Freight Forwarders truck.
Sunny Singh Chohan took his Alberta trucks and put them on B.C. roads after the ban.  B.C. politicos called on Ottawa to fix the current system, which allows trucks licensed in Alberta to operate in B.C. Here.
Chohan's operation is hard core Punjabi with the operation importing drivers from India.Carriers from one province may operate in others as long as they carry proper insurance. Kuljit Singh Chohan is just too clever for stupid Canadians.NRauldDC_400x400
Citizens bitched mightily online as Sunny Singh Chohan's Alberta trucks were spotted many times in the Lower Mainland.
Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. had its safety certificate pulled after it's sixth infrastructure crash in two years.

Owner of 'Chohan Group' is son Sunny Singh Chohan.
The operation smashes into overpasses as a cost of its over load/over height business. Stiffer penalties were deemed necessary to prevent and deter the hugely costly crashes. First offender, and it didn't take 2 weeks, were the Chohans. Chohan trucks account for nearly 20% of the 31 overpass crashes recorded since December 2021. The website for Chohan Freight Forwarders features a highway overpass. Here.

Francesco 'Chit' Del Balso revisted

Francesco 'Chit' Del Balso, 53, had a six figure contract on his head when much of his face was blown off on June 5 2023.
> He tried to flee the country but was stopped at Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport. His passport was confiscated, and he returned home knowing he was wanted dead. Twice before hitmen had tried to kill him. Del Balso had a reputation for being impulsive and hot-tempered.
Montreal cops were looking for a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck they say was the getaway vehicle in the slaying of Del Balso in Dorval. There have been no arrests.
He went to a fitness club in Dorval, on the West Island of Montreal, for a meeting with a member of the Hells Angels. Del Balso threw his lot in with top levels of HAMC leadership. His fate was waiting for him. The killer made no mistake. Del Balso never knew what hit him and probably died before he hit the ground. He lay cooling for hours as police investigated.
Del Balso was behind the attempted hit on Leonardo Rizzuto March 15. The cop thesis is Del Balso, a specialist in extortion and sports betting, sought retaliation on Rizzuto for a shooting from which he escaped in Laval in November 2022.

The entourage of Hells Angels include Martin Robert, Stéphane Plouffe and Michel Lamontagne. Martin Robert and Stéphane Plouffe were among the bikers who were "associated" with the Rizzuto clan in 2021. Del Balso was notably seated with Robert, Plouffe and Lamontagne to mark the latter's 46th birthday, on May 29, 2021 in a restaurant in  Rivière-des-Prairies. Lamontagne was busted, and later beat a possession of a handgun charge.

Olanrewaju Ojelade = 11 years

Professional cocaine smuggler Olanrewaju Ojelade, 29, arrived at the Sarnia courthouse knowing he could be heading to prison for a decade. It turned out to be 11 years.
CBS at the Blue Water Bridge near Sarnia found 48, one-kilogram bricks of cocaine in a hidden trap in his 2013 Chevrolet Traverse. The cocaine, between 85% to 91% pure, was worth between $2.3m and $5.3m. The judge opted not to sentence Ojelade after both lawyers finished arguments and adjourned the case for two months. “You’re clearly going away for a long time,” he said. Prosecutors wanted 12 years.
Ojelade arrived at the Blue Water Bridge about 3 p.m. on May 24, 2019 and told a Canadian border officer he’d been in the U.S. for nine days for a religious function in Utah. He said he bought books for $50 and had nothing else to declare. A drug detecting dog alerted and large vehicle X-rays found the hidden compartment and the cocaine. A dozen other drug importation cases, almost all involving truckers, are before the Sarnia courts.

David 'Wolf' MacDonald Carroll

Cops looking for him have been coming up empty for over 2 decades. It's 23 years in pursuit of HA David 'Wolf' MacDonald Carroll. Carroll, now 72, has been on the run since 2001 when he was busted for drug trafficking, racketeering and murder, along with boss and close friend Maurice 'Mom' Boucher.

Involved in over a dozen murders, Carroll was a key member of the Nomads.
Carroll was born in Halifax and joined an OMG called the 13th Tribe, which eventually became the HA Halifax chapter. He would become president. Recruited by Boucher personally, he came to Montreal in 1995.

David MacDonald Carroll was an efficient killer.
On June 24, 1995, he was one of the nine founding members of the elite Nomads. He was placed in charge of drug dealing in the Laurentians.
Carroll was charged in the Lennoxville massacre but was acquitted.
He became Boucher’s most trusted hit man, taking part in at least 15 murders. The Wolf did a year in jail for running a prostitution ring in Montreal in the mid-1980s. He didn’t intend on going back. When he got word in early 2001 of a major bust, he disappeared. When cops spread out across Quebec in Operation Printemps, they nailed everyone but David Carroll. 22 years later, they’re still looking. One of his sightings was in Australia in 2012. He’s said to be supporting his travels by setting up drug deals in the countries he’s visited. He was nearly busted in the Dominican Republic, where cops missed him by weeks.
The Nomads August 5, 2000, months before 'Operation Springtime 2001'. From left to right top: Michel Rose (sentenced 22 years), Donald 'Pup' Stockford (20 years), Gilles 'Trooper' Mathieu (20 years), Richard (Dick) Mayrand (22 years), Denis Houle (20 years), David 'Wolf' Carroll (0).

From left to right bottom: Walter 'Nurget' Stadnick (20 years), René Charlébois (20 years), Normand Robitaille (21 years), Maurice (Mom) Boucher. (life) Detectives visited Carroll at his apartment in February 2001. The cops and Carroll spoke for several hours about different topics, including becoming an informant and his take on the Biker Wars.
On February 8, 2001, less than two months after Mom Boucher's arrest for ordering the murder of two prison guards, cops rang the doorbell of Carroll's apartment. Carroll waved them in as soon as the two identified themselves and asked if they could speak with him. "When you’re a Hells Angel like me, there are four ways to leave the group. Leave on good terms. End up in a sleeping bag. Leave with your suitcase without telling anyone. Or change course and become an informer."
On March 28, 1,700 police officers conducted Operation Spring 2001, busting 130 Hells Angels members and associates. "Wolf" Carroll was to be arrested for murder and drug trafficking. But he had already made his choice: pack his bags and leave without warning.

Captagon void after Bashar Assad

Syria’s new authorities torched a large stockpile of drugs, including one million pills of captagon, whose production flourished under ousted president Bashar Assad. Its thought the captagon trade was worth billions USD every year. Syria’s new Islamist rulers have yet to spell out their policy on alcohol, let alone captagon. Captagon 'Abu Hilalain (father of the two crescent moons)' is the drug of choice in the Middle East. At least 80% of it was produced in Syria, generating three times the combined trade of the Mexican cartels for Assad’s regime.
Captagon pills fueled Hamas militants during terrorist attacks. Pills of the drug have been found on the bodies of Hamas prisoners and fighters killed in the conflict. Captagon is the brand name of the drug fenethylline hydrochloride. Its highly addictive nature led to it being banned in the 1980s, but a clandestine trade of counterfeit versions of the pills booms in the Middle East. A mixture of amphetamine and theophylline, it is often cut with other things like caffeine and paracetamol.
The regime's annual Captagon trade is estimated to be worth $57 billion in 2022, about three times the trade of all Mexican cartels. Captagon was developed in Germany during the 1960s as a remedy for ADHD, narcolepsy and depression. One of its active ingredients, fenethylline, was blacklisted by the UN in 1986, leading most countries to discontinue it's use. In 2020 Italian police seized 14 tonnes of Captagon pills worth around €1 billion, describing it as the world’s single largest operation of its kind.
Counterfeit Captagon production in the Middle East is centred primarily in Syria and Lebanon. Counterfeit versions of the drug often contains amphetamine, caffeine and other fillers. Captagon is common across the Middle East.
The biggest destinations are Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states like the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Captagon has so far only been consumed on a very small scale in Europe but that has potential to change. Sold for fractions of a dollar in parts of Syria, the same tablet can fetch more than $20 in Saudi Arabia. Captagon is a highly addictive amphetamine.

Larry Amero, Dean Wiwchar and Rabih Alkhalil

Larry Amero was sentenced to 18 years of prison with credit for time served. Just before his trial began, Amero was moved to an isolation unit with co-accused Rabih 'Robby' Alkhalil. It was from that unit that Alkhalil made his daring escape.
Alkhalil was sentenced to life with no chance of parole for 25 years. Larry Amero almost fainted in B.C. Supreme Court on Nov. 29, 2022 as pictures of his gangland shooting were entered. Photos of blood on the vehicle’s driver’s seat saw Amero have problems breathing.
Amero, Dean Michael Wiwchar and Alkhalil faced first-degree murder charges for the death of Sandip Duhre. Duhre was gunned down at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. The killing was revenge for the Bacon hit outside Kelowna’s Delta Grand Hotel in August 2011. That shooting was in retaliation for the Oct 2010 murder of Gurmit Dhak.

Sandip Duhre was killed with several shots in the face in 2012.

Dean Wiwchar earned $120k for the Duhre hit.

John Raposo was shot in the face by Wiwchar.

Leon Cullen - Vile bullying gangster

Leon Cullen made almost £350k from the supply of guns, ammunition and cocaine between June 1 2016 to January 11 2018. He was ordered to pay back his ill-gotten gains.
He was jailed for 22 years after he admitted running a gun and drug gang. Cullen was a well known Liverpool drug dealer who became embroiled with more established gangs and started a street war. After a series of violent incidents Cullen was arrested in Dubai and then extradited back to the UK. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply firearms, conspiracy to possess ammunition and conspiracy to supply cocaine. The Cullen brothers and their associates supplied guns and drugs to smaller gangs and sent henchmen to threaten anyone who owed a debt. 20 men were jailed for a total of 185 years.

Nigel Gerke bought 10 years.
Twin brothers Leon and Anthony Cullen grew up in the Longford area which became a stronghold for their gang. Leon was known to be the more volatile of the two thugs. Liverpool residents were relieved after they were finally caged.
Cops provided digitally altered photos for what the goons may look like when they get out.
