Langley fentanyl lab – usual suspects revisited

Burnaby RCMP announced a fentanyl ‘super lab’ bust at a Langley farm on November 27, 2024. Cops use the term ‘super lab’ to describe large-scale, commercial drug operations. It was another one down for all the usual suspects; the Sinaloa Cartel, Sami El-Helou and the Sandhers/KTF. Cops executed 4 search warrants in the Lower Mainland October 16 and 17. Raids revealed a drug lab at a rural property in Langley capable of producing 7 kg of fentanyl weekly. Cops seized fentanyl, hundreds of kilograms of precursor chemicals and two vehicles. The most common synthesis route for fentanyl uses precursor chemicals: 4-anilino-N-phenethyl-4-piperidine (ANPP) and N-phenethyl-4-piperidone (NPP).

Two unnamed bums, a 31-year-old Burnaby man and a 43-year-old Surrey man, were arrested and face charges. It took cops three days to dismantle the lab, destroy the equipment and dispose of the contaminated materials. The fentanyl lab was another one down for the Sandher/KTF/Sinaloa Cartel operation.

Cops fingered 4 criminal organizations in Western Canada as high-level fentanyl threats to the security of the country. Leader of the parade, until their labs got busted, were the KTF/Sinaola Cartel/Sandhers.

Bert Tonsoo - Sandher lawyer

Key K9 in the Sandher operation is corrupt Kelowna lawyer Robert (Bert) Tonsoo. Bert has been the liartard for Sandher Sinaloa Cartel money laundering amounting to hundreds of millions for over 15 years. Tonsoo is the rare white man with in-depth knowledge of the entire Sandher operation. He is long in tooth. Bert Tonsoo travelled to Dubai twice in 2014, three times in 2015, 2016, twice in both 2017 and 2018, once in 2019, once in 2022, and three times in 2023. He went there in April, 2024. He can't deny his credit card statements. In 2017 and 2018, he was in Dubai at the same time as the Sandhers. Bert was at the executive table with Sami El-Helou and the Sandhers many times. Cops are well aware of his role. Bert was pulled in for questioning by cops the morning of September 18th, 2024. A Bitcoin transaction from a wallet of Sami El-Helou was sent and cashed out to his trust account. It entered the blockchain through a Garantex wallet in Moscow. Payments were made to Black Media and Castanet Media for Sandher press.

Bert Tonsoo has been the 'go to' liartard for countless dodgy property purchases by the Sandhers, most involving FinTrac. His hand is all over Canco Petroleum and has been since its inception. Swearing false affidavits for use in Sandher defamation lawsuits is nothing. Bert has no problems perjuring himself; that is the least of his many crimes.

Bir Singh Sandher purchased 3750 Anderson Rd. in Kelowna in 2013 for $1.3m in a private sale. A year later Sandher bought 1,500 acres on several titles for $32m at 2222 Swainson Road. Both transactions were handled by Bank of Montreal and bank transfers were flagged by FinTrac. Bir Sandher relied on fixer Tonsoo to parry cops and complete the deals. Scumbag lawyers create shell companies, wire money, transfer real estate and deposit drug cash into trust accounts, all under the cover of solicitor-client privilege. They are not subject to Canada’s anti-money laundering laws. Bert Tonsoo has made a career of it.

Parmjeet Singh Sehgal and Ravinder Singh Nijjar were gas jockeys in 2010 when they bought a c-gas site in Kamloops. Canco Petroleum launched in 2016 with a single location.

Canco Petroleum exploded in 2020 after moving its head office to Kelowna. By 2023 there were 100 Canco branded sites in Canada. Canco Petroleum now owns and operates some 160 claimed gas station, convenience store, liquor, and quick service restaurant locations. Most are owned. Their expansion was fueled by laundering vast sums of drug money from the Sinaloa Cartel.

Funding was no problem for Canco and independents sold at inflated prices. In the span of 7 years, Canco’s growth pushed it into Ontario.

RBI boasts $40b in annual sales from 30,000 outlets in 100 countries. Chester's is a quick-serve restaurant (QSR) with 1,200 locations, virtually all in the U.S.

Part of the Khalistani Canco Petroleum operation is propane. Brian and Dianne Chadwick of Summerland started A&A Propane Delivey Service in 1993. In 2021 they got an offer they could not possibly refuse and retired with a large bag of loot. Canco Propane drivers are now Punjabi.

Canco celebrated a grand opening in Sparwood on September 13, 2024. Canco regional manager Smile Seth attended with brothers Aman Singh and Raj Singh, and Ganeev Kaur. Seth immigrated to Canada from Punjab in 2016 and worked at Canco as a cashier. He said other Punjabi should have the same opportunities. "We want to employ immigrants." There is no word on jobs for Canadians.

During 2023 new openings were a monthly event. The steamroller that was Canco Petroleum stalled by early 2024. The bottomless pit of money from the Sinaloa Cartel must have petered out. There are conflicting numbers. 160 Canco stores may actually be less than 120. The implosion of the Sinaloa Cartel means less drug funds going into gas stations, golf courses, and orchards. The tide may turn to redemptions of cartel capital. If the Khalistani can't pay it back they stand to be in life threatening jeopardy.
