Roberto González Montes arrested for Mormon slaughter

Roberto González Montes, the leader of La Línea, “El32” or “El Mudo,” meaning the mute, was arrested. The massacre came during a war between Montes’ La Línea and the Sinaloa Cartel. Nine who died were part of a convoy of 17 ambushed in Sonora. The dead and injured were all members of La Mora, a settlement in Sonora, an offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Some of the children were burned alive.
La Mora contains 35 homes with 150 people.

Roberto González Montes was arrested with other suspected cartel figures Eulalio Domínguez Alanís and Santiago Casavantes Radovich.
