He called on Sikhs to support Khalistan and that Punjab must be “freed from Indian occupation”. SFJ is a banned terrorist organization in India, and Pannun is a designated terrorist. The Pahalgam terror attack has been blamed on Pakistan. Pakistan said it had “credible intelligence” that India is planning an attack within days, and promised to retaliate.

Reyat was convicted of perjury after he lied during the trial of two men accused in the airplane bombing that killed 329. He was freed in 2016 after serving 2/3 of 9 years. Reyat pleaded guilty to manslaughter for helping build the bomb. His two co-killers were acquitted. |  |
