Italian cops found a cache of 235 frozen dormice, which are a protected species in Italy. They also found more in cages being fattened up for slaughter. The creatures are a favorite of the ’Ndrangheta, whose members believe eating them during important meetings brings wisdom. They are also on the menu when warring clans make peace. Dormice were widely consumed in ancient Rome, often stuffed with ground pork and pine nuts. |

The Hells Angels Nomads in Ottawa made their comeback in 2018 after violent in-fighting in the summer of 2016. For 20 years the Sherbrooke Hells Angels enjoyed huge profits from drug sales in Ottawa and Sudbury. The Nomads expanded there after arrests in 2009 decimated the Quebec HA. Drug revenue dwindled as the Nomads paid no tax. There would be consequences.
On April 16, 2016 Ontario Nomads vice-president Phil Boudreault was shot off his bike in Lachute. He is said to be in a wheelchair. In August Martin Bernatchez, president, was shot three times in Sherbrooke. According to cops it was Ontario Nomads who broke club rules. When this happens the club doesn't hestitate in eliminating the problem.![]() Boudreault and Bernatchez in better days. |

Surrey police chief Norm Lipinski = $21,943 in overtime, so far
Oinker Norm Lipinski has hit the jackpot. | Surrey’s incoming swine chief Norm Lipinski is drawing fire for the $21,943 in overtime he's booked in less than 8 months. The new piggy boss has a base salary of $285k. Lipinski has billed taxpayers for about 160 extra hours, or close to five hours per week for his valuable services. The overtime revelation came from a freedom of information request. Had that not happened taxpayers would still be ignorant. Surrey Coun. Brenda Locke called the overtime payments to Lipinski “shameful” and “ridiculous.” Former West Vancouver police chief Kash Heed expressed his own shock at the overtime bill. “It is unheard of in the police community that a chief or any executive officer gets paid overtime. The practice is they keep a book and use that as time off.” |
Surrey estimated the new piggy force would cost $45m but that figure rose to $63.7m. The final bill will be far higher and it doesn't take a genius to figure out that larceny is the problem. Opponents of Norm Lipinski (2 elderly ladies from "Keep the RCMP in Surrey") learned he uses a private email while doing public business. |
They were threatened with a lawsuit on Aug 18, 2021. The cease and desist letter from Keri Bennett at Roper Greyell accused them of “unlawfully use and distribute [Lipinski’s] personal email address.” |

Last mobster tied to Boston art heist dies
Robert Gentile, a mobster who cops suspected in a 1990 museum heist has died of a stroke at age 85. Its thought he once had possession of some of the artwork taken from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. 13 pieces from the collection, including works from Rembrandt, Vermeer and Degas were lifted. The art has never been found. Among the stolen works was 'The Concert', one of 34 known works by Vermeer and thought to be the most valuable stolen painting at over $200 million. Some $500 million worth of art, including Rembrandt’s 'Storm on the Sea of Galilee' was stolen. |
![]() 'The Concert' by Vermeer | The Gardner heist was carried out by two men dressed like cops who overpowered a night security guard who had buzzed them in. During a polygraph test, Gentile had an intense reaction when shown images of the missing paintings, while he remained calm when shown unrelated artwork. The museum offered a reward of $5m. In 2017 this was doubled to $10m with an expiration date set to the end of that year. | ![]() |

Shahin Behroyan - Stinking Cabbage
Realtor Shahin Behroyan has lost his appeal of a five year licence suspension for stealing $75k from a client.
![]() Behroyan was described as crooked, corrupt, greedy, and using dirty money. | Shahin Behroyan had his bumhole in a twist when he sued fellow realtor Reza Mousavy in 2017. Jorge Vinicio Sosa Orantes
In June the Canadian government was implored to respect its obligation to prosecute crimes against humanity. Jorge Vinicio Sosa Orantes has been living in Canada since his release from a US prison this spring.
![]() Orantes in 2011 | 40 years ago the special unit he commanded tortured and murdered more than 200 people, including children, wiping out the Guatemalan village of Las Dos Erres. Jorge Vinicio Sosa Orantes, 63, is accused of slaughtering villagers using a grenade, gun and sledgehammer. He paints himself as an instructor at a military training school, working with local communities. He actually was an officer of an elite military death squad known as the Kaibiles. Sosa Orantes served 10 years for immigration fraud in the US, where he also held citizenship until it was revoked in 2014. |
![]() | In the early 80s, the Guatemalan military junta began a ruthless campaign against guerrilla groups that wiped out 440 villages, killing over 75,000. Sosa Orantes was a leader of a special forces group that led a mission to Las Dos Erres in December 1982. The military killed at least 162 civilians, including 67 children. Women were raped and children were thrown into an 18-metre dry well. "The members of the special forces group killed their victims by hitting them on the head with a sledgehammer, by hitting their heads on a tree, shooting them, or by slitting their throats." | ![]() |
![]() | "I was not in Las Dos Erres," he wrote. Sosa Orantes says that in late 1982 and early 1983 he was travelling to towns as part of a goodwill effort, handing out notebooks, pens, chalk, educational games and sports equipment for children. Sosa Orantes married an American woman and attained U.S. citizenship in Sept 2008. In 2010, the U.S. discovered he had committed immigration fraud by concealing his past and he was arrested the following year in Lethbridge. |

Dying of Covid-19
Covid-19 attacks the lungs impeding intake of oxygen. People with worsening Covid-19 usually show up in the emergency ward because they are having difficulty breathing. As their lungs deteriorate, they have a harder and harder time getting enough oxygen with each breath. They need to breath faster, from an average 14 times a minute to 30 or 40. Gasping brings with it a very real sense of panic. |
| Doctors say many patients are certain they are dying. The struggle for missing oxygen is that overwhelming. An example is taking as deep a breath as you can. Hold and that is your starting point for the next breath. Now imagine doing that for weeks on end. As breathing becomes more and more difficult patients are heavily sedated and attached to a ventilator. By this time COVID-19 has run its course, it is the immune response and damaged lungs that will not heal. Lungs become 'hard' and the heart is overloaded trying to force blood into them. As the heart fails, kidneys are the first to go. At this point most will die in days to weeks of organ failure. |
