A dozen Harleys, 16 vehicles and $400k cash has been seized in a cop operation in West Auckland. The seizure comes from Operation Samson, which nailed the West Auckland Nomads chapter of the Hells Angels. Total value of property, assets and cash restrained is in excess of $6m.

€500,000 bounty on jewel heist

A jewelry heist at the Maastricht art fair has resulted in a record amount of €500k reward by the insurer. Its believed the so-called Pink Panther gang has something to do with the theft of 10 pieces of jewelry at the Tefaf art fair in June, one of which had a 114-carat diamond. Its said one of the necklaces was worth €27m. The necklace was by Joel Arthur Rosenthal, 79, one of the most noted jewellery designers in the world. It has a chain of pearls spaced with emeralds, from which hangs a yellow cushion-shaped diamond.

Francesco Del Balso reportedly demanded $5k a week from the church if he couldn't get back the jewelry that his ex-wife left while donating clothes a few years ago. The intimidation allegedly began when the priest told Del Balso he had no idea about any jewelry. The 52-year-old is expected to face extortion and intimidation charges. In 2006, he was arrested in Project Coliseum and sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to gangsterism, cocaine smuggling, and tax evasion. Del Balso also spent 30 days in prison after threatening journalist Félix Séguin, who was tracking his attempts to extort pizzeria owners in Quebec City.

Last farewell for Maurice 'Mom' Boucher

On a hot September evening, a dozen close relatives of the fallen biker gathered on Île Sainte-Hélène, in Montreal, to carry out his last wishes. They scattered his ashes in a small wooded area near oblivious walkers who had no idea they walked among the remains of one of the most notorious leaders of organized crime in Quebec. 165 people died in the Biker war between 1994 and 2002, including nine innocent victims. Boucher died behind bars at the age of 69 on July 10. He suffered from throat cancer which made him suffer until the end. Thin and weakened, he was fed liquid food supplements for several days, in addition to morphine. Disowned by his former colleges, Boucher died angry. Romana Didulo didn't get that memo and created some nasty business with the club's logo top, front and center. It is all bullshit from a mental midget. The handwritten signature in the letter belongs to singer Bill Kaulitz of the band Tokio Hotel. Cops say the unstable conspirator is “in delirium”.

Footage captured by stunned onlookers shows a Toyota RAV4 rear-ended then spun around by a black Mercedes-Benz S560 coupe. The driver is then robbed. The incident occurred on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. (Second Ave. and 91st St). The thieves made off with a bag with $20k in cash. They dumped the stolen Mercedes-Benz a few blocks away.
