170kg heroin lassoed in Atlanta


Ledgers showed from Aug 2018 to Oct 2019 Daniels received over 1,000 kg of cocaine and heroin and returned more than $31m to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
Atlanta cops have seized around 170kg of heroin, 10 kg of cocaine, 8 kg of pot, over $1.5m in cash, and 41 firearms. Antonio DaShawn Daniels, 46, 'Freckleface Shawn' was the ringleader.
Daniels operated in “The Bluff.” The English Avenue neighborhood has been notorious as an open-market drug bazaar since the 1980s. It is often called the heroin capital of the South.

Netherlands' largest cocaine lab busted

Dutch police raided the facility in the central city of Apeldoorn, and arrested 17, most Colombians. As well as equipment and tens of thousands of litres of chemicals, cops found 100kg of cocaine base.
They also found 120 tonnes of what they described as "carrier material". This was described as clothing which is laced with cocaine. The drug is then removed in a chemical process at its destination.

The lab was housed inside an old riding school in Nijeveen, around 75 miles northeast of Amsterdam. Production capacity was around 150 to 200 kilos of cocaine per day.

1.5 tonnes of Cocaine landed in Hamburg

Customs officials in the port of Hamburg in Germany have unearthed one of the largest single cocaine hauls at the northern German port in recent years.
Cocaine was found stashed in a container with a rice shipment from Guyana aboard the container vessel, CMA CGM Jean Gabriel. It had been scheduled to be transshipped to Poland. The value of the high purity product is more than US$350m.

Various symbols were on the bricks, including a cat's face, the Gallic rooster, and the Ampelmännchen.

Chinatown gangster 'Fat Mark' who bribed Oakland cop gets life

Wing Wo Ma, 'Fat Mark', was sentenced to life in federal prison for murdering a husband and wife in Mendocino County. Ma, of Oakland, shot and killed Jim Tat Kong and Cindy Bao Feng Chen execution style in Fort Bragg in October 2013. Ma had borrowed money for a failed marijuana grow and a real estate scheme and his various scams were crashing down.

After the killings, he called his longtime cop handler: former Oakland lieutenant, Harry Hu.
Ma was not only a confidential informant for Hu, he was bribing Hu and another Oakland cop with trips to Las Vegas and Reno, picking up tabs for drinks, hotel suites and “company of hostesses” in Vegas bars. Ma also leased a $46,000 car for Hu to use. Hu had helped Ma avoid arrest multiple times over the years.

Hu took a plea deal and is scheduled to be sentenced later this month. He faces a one-year federal prison term.

Samark López Bello loses US assets of $318m

U.S. justice has dealt a blow to Samark López. He is frontman for Tareck El Aissami, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's right-hand man.
Seized assets in the United States include a Citibank account with $269m, two yachts, a plane, and luxury properties in Miami.

In March the DoJ charged El Aissami and 14 other current and former Venezuelan officials with narco-terrorism, corruption and drug trafficking.

Samark López Bello is El Aissami’s principal frontman and owns about a dozen companies linked to Venezuela’s current oil minister. López was sanctioned by the United States in 2017 as a drug lord along with El Aissami. There is a reward of up to $10m for information leading to El Aissami’s arrest.

Edén Guadalupe Villarreal Gómez arrested in Nuevo Laredo

Guadalupe Villarreal, known as The Lieutenant, is considered an important member of the Northeast Cartel. She was a state cop before joining the Northeast Cartel in 2014. She is considered one of the integral pillars of the gang and is described as "extremely violent."

The 41-year-old was arrested in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, along with her girlfriend, without incident. The Lieutenant was in charge of the nightclubs and bars in Boys Town, Nuevo Laredo's red light district, where human trafficking, extortion, kidnapping, torture and murder are common.
Villarreal Gómez had the absolute trust of leader of the Northeast Cartel Juan Gerardo Treviño, “Huevo.”

The Northeast Cartel was founded in 2014 as a breakaway group from the Los Zetas cartel. The Northeast Cartel is fighting against the Gulf Cartel to control drug trafficking along the Tamaulipas-Texas border.

U.S. alleges RICO Fraud at Saipan Casino

U.S. prosecutors indicted three Chinese, Liwen Wu, Jianmin Xu, and Yan Shi. They were employed building the massive gaming resort in Saipan, a remote U.S. territory in the middle of the Pacific. With visa fraud for Chinese construction workers, prosecutors allege a huge money laundering operation. Saipan was one of the highest-grossing casinos in the world in 2015 despite being half finished.
Betting volumes declined precipitously and the casino is in dire straits. It is expected to shutter.Controlled by Chinese businesswoman Cui Lijie, state owned Imperial Pacific International Holdings Ltd. relied on former directors of the FBI and CIA, as well as the former governors of New York and Pennsylvania as directors or advisers.

Dopey cops leave body of Randy Joseph Chan in burnt truck for a week

Burnaby Mounties were called to Mundie’s Towing after human remains were found in a vehicle by an insurance adjuster. The vehicle was discovered on fire in Burnaby a few kilometres away the previous Wednesday. The remains are those of Randy Joseph Chan.

Cops sent an advisory a week after Chan disappeared on the 21st, saying he had a 'significant' history with police. Chan was a member of the Lotus Gang, brother to boss Raymond and kidnapped in 1996 by "Bindy" Singh Johal.

Former German HA boss Frank Hanebuth fined 4,000 euros

Hanebuth was nailed for simple bodily harm and fined 4,000 euros.The trial of notorious rocker boss Frank Hanebuth in Hanover resulted in fines. Hanebuth was involved with full patch HA in the beating of a car mechanic.

198 kg meth seized at US-BC border

A man was arrested in a blueberry field, and cops seized an ATV and trailer containing bags of meth totaling 198 kg, or nearly 440 pounds.
American Zacchary Marcus Scott Hecock has been charged with the importation and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and remanded in custody.

During the hunt for the second suspect, which got away, two migrant farm workers were detained at gunpoint and later released. Both have filed complaints. The case is likely one of the largest seizures of meth in Canadian history.

Chinese cops take down $6b Plus Token Ponzi, arrest 109

The Plus Token scheme suckered more than 2m. It has swindled more than 40 billion yuan ($5.7 billion) from it's mostly Chinese and Korean victims. 27 masterminds were described running a "huge multinational MLM organization network entrenched at home and abroad.” In June, six people connected to the scam were arrested. However, stolen funds continued to move through wallets and be cashed out through independent OTC brokers. The scammers were still at large. Plus Token relied heavily in conferences and meetings to bring new money into the scheme.

She was known on the streets as 'KI' and 'Lil Snoop'When she was fatally shot nine times in the face, neck and chest at 17 years old, Gakirah Barnes was the most notorious gang assassin in Chicago.

Before her death in 2014, the 'devilish, monstrous little girl' had shot or killed 17 people — and amassed an army on social media by bragging about her bloodthirsty gangster lifestyle.

Chicago saw 1,979 murders between 2016-2018.
She was said to be the go-to gunman in the Gangster Disciples, a criminal street gang locked in a brutal rivalry with the Black Disciples. Gakirah Barnes' reputation was based on blood and revenge.
Her reputation as a gangster every bit as violent as the boys only grew as the violence in Chicago's South Side got worse. The 'hitta' had a reputation for efficiency and the stone-cold killer loved gloating about her exploits on social media.

Overloaded plane sinks Oz cocaine traffickers

A light aircraft overloaded with cocaine crashed on take-off on its way to Australia, exposing a Melbourne-based crime syndicate and leading to the arrest of five men with links to the Italian mafia. The Cessna was stuffed with more than 500 kg (1,100 pounds) of cocaine, and went down while attempting to leave a remote airstrip in Papua New Guinea. The weight of the cocaine had a severe impact on the plane's ability to take off. Authorities said the plane had flown to Papua New Guinea from the small town of Mareeba in Far North Queensland, flying at about 3,000 feet to avoid detection by radar.
A week after a Cessna 402C twin-engine aircraft crash-landed in mysterious circumstances at a makeshift airfield in scrubland at Papa Lealea, the cocaine was eventually found after a search of the area. Its total value was estimated to be around $80m.

Two days after the crash, the Australian man alleged to have flown the plane into PNG, David John Cutmore, handed himself in.

‘Veal Shank Redemption’ mobster and other Luccheses get life

A trio of New York mobsters were sentenced to life in prison for carrying out a Bronx hit in 2013. Christopher Londonio, Matthew Madonna and Terrence Caldwell were all given life for the slaying of former Purple Gang leader Michael Meldish in Throggs Neck. Madonna, the 84-year-old former acting boss of the Lucchese family, was convicted of racketeering conspiracy for ordering the hit over an unpaid gambling debt.
Londonio, 46, was accused of plotting to escape the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn by losing a huge amount of weight and using braided dental floss to begin “perforating the glass” at the lockup. The alleged plot put Londonio on the front page of The New York Post with the headline “The Veal Shank Redemption,” but he was later acquitted of the escape charge. He lost a whooping 200 pounds in the attempt.

Mob boss Madonna continued to plead his innocence. “I am innocent. I had absolutely nothing to do with the tragic death of Michael Meldish. I conspired with no one.”
