Juan Ramon Fernandez - Joe Bravo

In the early 2000s, Italian police intercepted a conversation regarding a drug deal between Mississauga mob figure Juan Ramon Fernandez and a Sicilian mafioso working for Messina Denaro. In the conversation Messina Denaro is referred to by his nickname of 'Diabolik'. Fernandez admitted guilt to a half-dozen underworld charges involving a murder plot, conspiring to traffic 1,000 kg of cocaine with Montreal’s Vito Rizzuto crime group and local Hells Angels, using forged passports, possessing a counterfeit credit card and defrauding a bank. Fernandez supported Rizzuto in his expansion from his Quebec base into the GTA in the early 2000s. The Rizzuto group encountered resistance from GTA underworld groups like the ’Ndrangheta. Fernandez used the names Joe Bravo, Johnny Bravo and James Shaddock.

Juan Ramon Fernandez, right, with Giuseppe Carbone shortly before Carbone killed him.
Two mobsters in Sicily were sentenced to life for killing two gangsters from Canada in 2016. Juan Ramon Fernandez, 56, had been deported from Canada when he was murdered. Dying beside him was Fernando Pimentel, who was visiting Italy to help his exiled boss. Pietro Scaduto, 51, Salvatore Scaduto, 54, and Giuseppe Carbone shot Fernandez and Pimentel to death on April 9, 2013.
Pietro Scaduto, left, Salvatore Scaduto. Giuseppe Carbone became a cooperating witness against the brothers.
Fernandez was close to both Rizzuto and Raynald Desjardins. Desjardins had brought Fernandez into a higher echelon of crime, but it was Rizzuto who gave him his power. Fernandez claimed Rizzuto even inducted him as a “made man” of the Mafia — despite him being Spanish, not Italian. Fernandez’s sin was failure to chose sides: He was “like a priest who visits all the churches.”
The order to kill Fernandez came from Canada. The bodies were dumped in a shallow grave and set ablaze. The car was then driven to a different location and was set on fire to destroy evidence. Unable to resist profit Carbone slipped an expensive watch off Fernandez’s wrist. It had been a gift to him from Rizzuto.

Carbone was later caught trying to sell the watch, leading to his arrest. He agreed to help police with their investigation and to testify against his co-accused, becoming a “pentito” in Italian parlance.

Ryan Mark Daigneault back behind bars

Ryan Mark Daigneault was awaiting trial on a dozen drug trafficking and weapons charges. He is back behind bars charged with assault causing bodily harm. Daigneault was one of 10 people busted 2 years ago in Project Weaver, a probe of gun and drug trafficking led by the OPP’s biker enforcement unit. The investigation targeted 4 criminal organizations, including the Outlaws in London. Ryan 'Big Red' Daigneault appeared in a London court by video link. He was remanded in custody pending an appearance.
Cops seized 31 guns, 81 grenades, two grenade launchers, 22 other prohibited devices, three explosive projectiles, 98 kg of pot, 16 kg of magic mushrooms, 10 kg of cocaine, more than two kg of hashish, 715 grams of MDMA, 8 vehicles and $130k in cash.
In 2018 Daigneault walked from accusations of plotting a hit on a member of the Hells Angels. While Daigneault was in custody awaiting trial the Hells Angels arranged an assault. They sent the wrong tuffs and Daigneault lived up to his 'Big Red'. The assault failed miserably.

Bikie Dayne Brajkovich - Out and Fu*k the Police - update IV

Bikie Dayne Brajkovich has won his legal battle after being found not guilty of displaying bikie insignia.
Brajkovich took to the stand at Perth Magistrates Court to deny allegations he wore a Hells Angels club logo on a shirt while walking past Ascot Racecourse on January 21, five days after he was booted from the club. He was also accused of displaying a tattoo referencing the club at Belmont Shopping Centre a few days later on January 30. Brajkovich suggested the shirt shown in CCTV footage being worn by a heavily tattooed man was a fake and stated he “doesn’t wear fake shit” when he has “two-hundred grand around his neck” – referring to his trademark gold chain. Brajkovich was booted from the Hells Angels in early 2022. His new wife, Jacinta Hill, told the packed courtroom her husband had been let go by the Hells Angels for “bashing the president”.
Former HA bikie Dayne Brajkovich thinks a swastika on his chiny chin chin is super.
Dayne Brajkovich bashed Rebels boss Nick Martin weeks before his public assassination. Shots were fired at Brajkovich’s home in Ascot in early March 2021. Nobody was injured.

The words 'revenge' and 'enforcer' are still marked on Brajkovich's inky head.
Dayne Brajkovich was expelled from the HAMC. His troubles continued as he was charged under WA's tough new anti-gang laws. Brajkovich needed to 'do' something about his dopey tatoos before stepping out in public, and that he did. The words 'sergeant at arms' has been covered. A '1%' tattoo on his chest is now a black diamond.
Among Brajkovich's many tattoos are the word 'Hells Angels' on his forehead and '1%er' on his neck. Cops suggest he needs to buy cases of band-aids to walk the streets of Perth. Brajkovich couldn't be missed at a recent court appearance. He was wearing a red and black HAMC jersey, along with a Gucci cap, sunglasses and a massive gold chain, bracelet and watch. His pretty shoes were likewise designer club colours. Brajkovich, 41, faced Perth Court, not the fashion police, and was fined $300, plus $248 in court costs. He pleaded guilty to entering a premises where he was barred. It is not known if they had a dress code for circus clowns.

Daniel Lesin - Ferrari con boy

Daniel Lesin, 24, is not a typical rich kid. He’s not rich at all, and neither are his parents, even though Lesin claimed his father is a Russian billionaire. He lassoed the good life, driving rare exotic cars, and wearing expensive watches and designer clothes. He claimed to have invented gambling software while in college, and his hedge fund father was funding it all. It was all a fabrication, one suckers lapped up with gusto. For four years, Lesin persuaded buyers into giving him huge sums of cash and wire transfers up-front with the promise of a car, but he never delivered anything in return.
Fraudulent Lesin purchase order.
In June 2022 he began selling fake reservation slots for the coveted Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 to buyers across the U.S. and Canada. One buyer even shelled out seven figures for a place in line that didn't exist outside of Lesin's imagination. Lesin was sentenced to 45 months in prison and he forfeited more than $2m in cash. The total traceable funds identified in the court case was $2,270,865.50. Lesin also relinquished nearly $200k in luxury Ulysse-Nardin and Rolex watches, and a Salvador Dali painting. That time doesn't sound like much considering the dope was looking at 20 years for wire fraud.

Cocaine in candies

Nigeria's National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, intercepted a Brazil returnee, Agbasi Prosper Chux with cocaine concealed in candies at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos on Christmas Day. An initial search of Chux's two checked in bags almost gave him a free pass as there was nothing incriminating found.

NDLEA cops then took an interest in the duty-free shopping nylon bags containing packs of 'candies’ he was holding in his hands. The packs of candies concealed 105 parcels of cocaine weighing 2.8 kilograms. A plastic bottle of body lotion also tested positive for cocaine with a total weight of 472 grams.

David James Oliynyk loses extradition fight - update

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu lost his extradition fight and he is on his way to Washington State. He is charged in the U.S. with five others with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and heroin. It stems from a bust in 2014 with Oliynyk.
Former Hells Angel David James Oliynyk fought to avoid extradition to American on cocaine charges. Oliynyk was once the sergeant at arms of the HA White Rock chapter. He is no longer with the club according to a 2019 bail hearing. He has been busted many times for drug smuggling and spent most of the last 30 years in prison. David Oliynyk, 71, puts the 'R' into recidivist.
The group was made up of Oliynyk, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Wayne Stephen Hollaus, Nikolai Terletsky and Charles Pak. Offences were alleged to have taken place between May and October 2014.

The drug smuggler from North Sydney was involved in a large-scale operation to bring the cocaine, worth $248m, into Sydney from Brazil. Acting on a tip-off from the DEA, the Australian Border Force intercepted the shipment of 2,000 boxes of fruit pulp from Brazil. Cops watched for two weeks as De Hesselle collected and searched through the banana pulp to remove cocaine they had replaced with inert powder. He was sentenced to 13 years and seven months with a non-parole period of 98 months.

Cesar Emilio Peralta - David Ortiz

Cesar Emilio Peralta
International drug trafficker César Emilio Peralta, 48, has pled guilty to drug trafficking in U.S. federal court and will be sentenced in May. Peralta, known as 'César the Abuser' was accused of ordering the shooting of David Ortiz in a Dominican nightclub. The drug kingpin was never formally charged with the Ortiz shooting. Ten men connected to the shooting of David Ortiz received sentences ranging from five to 30 years. They were handed down by a court in the Dominican Republic. Ortiz was shot in the back at a bar in 2019. News reports speculated that the hit was ordered by Peralta over a love triangle involving Dominican model Maria Yeribell Martinez Garcia.

Cops described the shooting as an organized mob hit on Ortiz, who was shot in the lower back at point blank range as he sat with friends.
When David “Big Papi” Ortiz began his major-league baseball career in 1992 he bought his family a new home with his $10k signing bonus. The two-story brick and stucco house is still owned by Ortiz on the outskirts of the Dominican capital where he grew up.

Dominican prosecutors had claimed that Peralta often leaned on MLB stars in order to launder cash from the proceeds of his cocaine empire.

Funeral home owner buys 20 years - sold body parts

Megan Hess
Funeral Home owner Megan Hess, 46, pleaded guilty to fraud in July. She operated a funeral home, Sunset Mesa, and a body parts entity, Donor Services, from the same building in Montrose, Colorado. Her 20 year stretch was the maximum allowed under law. Her mother, Shirley Koch, 69 also pleaded guilty to fraud and was sentenced to 15 years. Her central role was chopping up the bodies. The judge ordered that Hess and Koch be sent to prison immediately.
Hess' lawyer said she has been unfairly vilified as a "witch," a "monster" and a "ghoul," when instead she is actually a "broken human being".

Shirley Koch
26 victims described their horror at discovering what had happened to their loved ones. "Our sweet mother, they dismembered her," Erin Smith said, selling her shoulders, knees and feet for profit. "We don't even have a name for a crime this heinous." Tina Shanon, whose mother was dismembered said "I'll never be OK." Selling body parts such as heads, arms and spines – which is what Hess did – for use in research or education is not regulated by federal law.
Crimes came when the disugusting duo defrauded relatives of the deceased by lying and selling parts without permission.
