Extreme gun violence in Montreal

It's been a bloody summer in the Montreal area. Five people have been shot and killed since the beginning of August. Experts say an ongoing war between rival gangs, the Profit Boys in Rivière-des-Prairies and Zone 43 from Montréal-Nord, is causing much of the bloodshed.
There is conflict within the Bloods but also shootings related to the Crips. Open violence upsets the people at the top of the food chain and that is the Hells Angels. Its bad for business.

Carlos Luis Revete - El Koki

Carlos Luis Revete
For the 300,000 residents of Cota 905, a collection of houses by a freeway in the centre of Caracas, the most powerful man in Venezuela is not President Maduro. It is “El Koki”, 43, a gang leader. Since 2015 he has turned the slum into his private fiefdom, complete with a 200 man army.
El Koki gunmen had been battling Venezuelan security forces since his takeover of the neighboring La Vega district in late 2020. Most recently cops have invaded Cota 905, putting El Koki on the run while pitched gun battles rage between police and a collection of gangs. Warfare on the streets is a sure sign President Nicolas Maduro is losing control of the country.
Operations of Colombian narcotrafficking groups in Venezuelan territory is well known. The Clan del Golfo, Los Pelusos, Meta Block, and Libertadores del Vichada Block control large swaths of Venezuelan territory, not the dictatorship.
Venezuela says it will make a million-to-1 change in its currency, eliminating six zeros from prices in the local currency as hyperinflation plagues the country. The new 100 bolivar bill will be the highest denomination. It is equivalent to 100,000,000 of the current bolivar. This is the third adjustment since socialist leaders began governing Venezuela. Venezuela is in its sixth year of recession.

Cocaine floods Europe

Since cocaine production began climbing in 2013, it has more than doubled.
Europe is awash with cocaine and faces a surge of abuse as Colombia produces record amounts with increasing purity. Experts say importers are stockpiling huge quantities, alarmed by threats to supply lines due to Covid lockdowns. Supply is up, but so is demand, leaving prices stable.
Europe is a far more attractive prospect than the US. Prices are significantly higher, and the risks are much lower. A kilo of cocaine in the US is worth up to $28k wholesale. That same kilo is worth around $40k and might be as much as nearly $80k in different parts of Europe.

Jabril Abdalla issues warning after being cleared

Jabril Abdalla realized he was in deep water when prison guards came by his cell just to look at him. His reputation was as a mafia contract killer. The reality was he had been played like a stooge and was the fall guy. Killer Michael Cudmore was found murdered at the side of a road in Mexico, and the other hitman, Daniel Tomassetti, has vanished in the country.
“Abdalla in no way had direct involvement in those murders,” says a statement of facts presented by the prosecution and accepted by a judge. He is warning others not to be lured into the criminal underworld.

Trump card the latest thing

Latest in Trump world is the desire of the monarch to have his most loyal subjects carry a Nazi-like card. Supporters were asked in begging emails to chose between four golden cards with Trump's signature on the front.

Rudy Giuliani - Hero to Zero

In 1989 Rudolph Giuliani stepped down after six years as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. He left a legacy of hugely successful prosecutions against leaders of New York’s “Commission” of organized crime families. He was mayor of New York for eight years, reducing crime in the city by 50% and earning praise for his 9/11 performance.
20 years later we find a man that is old, infirm, and very likely an alcoholic. He is the spewing, dripping face of Trump's lies. Rudy Giuliani worked hand in glove with America's enemies and may well be a traitor.

Anthony 'Gaspipe' Casso

Anthony “Gaspipe” Casso died on December 15, 2020 in prison at age 78 after contracting COVID-19.
Casso caught Covid inside FSP Tucson in Arizona.

His many crimes were so heinous that even the threat of death from coronavirus didn't make him eligible for compassionate release.
Anthony Salvatore Casso was an underboss of the Lucchese crime family. During his career in organized crime, Casso was regarded as a 'homicidal maniac.' He admitted to 36 murders but committed more. In the early 1990s Casso maintained de facto control of the Lucchese family. He ordered eleven mob slayings, and engineered several murder plots against John Gotti with Genovese leader Vincent "the Chin" Gigante.

Following his arrest in 1993, Casso became one of the highest-ranking members of the Mafia to turn rat. In 1998 the US government rescinded Casso's plea agreement and dropped him from the witness protection program. Later that year he was sentenced to 455 years in prison.
Casso was eventually jailed on various charges on January 19, 1993. He finalized a deal at a hearing on March 1, 1994, where he pleaded guilty to 72 counts spelling out a huge litany of Mafia-related crimes, including racketeering, extortion and 15 murders. Casso revealed that two NYPD detectives had been on the Lucchese payroll. Louis Eppolito and Stephen Caracappa committed eight of the eleven murders Casso had ordered.
