Ghost gun maker Adrian Picketts-Yoxall on the run

Charges were approved against Adrian Picketts-Yoxall. Cops found a stash of homemade weapons inside his Heffley Creek home in January 2022. They also found a 3D printer, ammunition, magazines and body armour. Cops have ramped up warnings about ghost guns. The firearms are increasingly appearing at crime scenes in Canada.

For gun makers, a few hundred dollars in assembled parts returns an untraceable weapon worth $2k or more on the street.

HA Gaetan Bradette has regrets

“I have a lot of regrets,” Gaetan Bradette, 61, told the Parole Board. Bradette, closely tied to Maurice (Mom) Boucher, spoke of how his sons followed him into the drug business. Bradette admitted he sold drugs “for most of my life” and became “notorious” for it. In 2021, he and his two sons — Tommy, 27, and Francis, 40 — were arrested with several others. Last year, Gaetan Bradette pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and conspiracy. He was sentenced to 45 months and had 29 months left to serve when he pleaded guilty. Bradette is eligible for both day and full parole. His son Francis pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and has a sentence hearing scheduled at the Montreal courthouse this month. He will be going away.
His other son Tommy bought a 14-year sentence in August for trafficking and involvement in a murder plot. During his parole hearing, Brouillette heard conversations secretly recorded by cops indicating he gave son Tommy his blessings to take over his drug territory. Bradette denied it. "An influential member (of the Hells Angels) entered into my world. At the time I was about 25 years old. (The Hell Angel’s) name meant nothing to me. I didn’t even know who he was. He was the one person from that world I became close to.” While he didn’t name the Hells Angel, its obvious Bradette was referring to Boucher, a man who became the dominant figure in Quebec’s biker war.

$20m gold heist at Pearson airport - update IV

The Toronto airport heist of 400.19 kg in gold bars, along with US $2m was as easy as walking into Air Canada’s cargo facility, showing a false waybill, and leaving with the loot. So says a lawsuit by Brinks against Air Canada. The lawsuit says Air Canada has ass backward terrible security. There have been no arrests.

“This is an active investigation and we are exploring all avenues,” said cops.
The air freight container stuffed with $20m in gold and banknotes was unloaded from an Air Canada jet arriving at Toronto’s Pearson airport onto a Brink’s security truck while on the airport tarmac. The loot, the size of a desk, was then driven through a tunnel underneath the runways to an Air Canada cargo holding facility on the other side of the airport called Cargo West. It then disappeared. The afternoon flight to Toronto was from Zurich. The shipment was destined for TD Bank with Brinks providing security.
Brinks was co-ordinating the shipment of $20m worth of gold and currency when it was stolen from Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Brink’s Company, the corporation responsible for the transit of valuable goods, confirmed to CTV News on Monday they were “co-ordinating the shipments”. “At Brink’s, if assets are lost at any point during transfer, we reimburse our customers in accordance with our contract terms.” Cops are tight lipped as they spilled little beans about the $20m heist.
The goods were offloaded from an Air Canada plane at Pearson airport the evening of April 17. The airline's cargo operations were in possession of the high value goods when they disappeared. The missing loot was reported to cops shortly after.
Cops have no clue.
The heist happened in a holding cargo facility at the airport. The loot was removed by "illegal means." Cops wouldn't reveal where the aircraft carrying the cargo had come from, or its final destination. Its said the destination for the 'gold and banknotes' was TD Bank. What cops fail to say is the obvious ... it had to be an inside job.

Greenbelt Fraud - RCMP investigating - update VI

Mounties announced they are investigating Ontario's Greenbelt steal. “Therefore, no further updates will be provided at this time.” The RCMP was referred the file by the OPP in August to avoid any perceived conflict of interest. The OPP anti-rackets branch has been reviewing multiple complaints since mid-December.
Beaten black and fukkin blue, Doug Ford rolled back the Greenbelt land steal. New Housing Minister is Paul Calandra, who replaces the disgraced Steve Clark. "There's going to be a complete review from top to bottom and they're gonna have to stand on their own merit. And it's not just the 14 lands, it's gonna be the seven or 800 lands right across the board,” Ford babbled at reporters.
When asked for details about what it means to “stand on their own merit,” Ford refused to provide further details. Despite the re-evaluation, Ford said that progress will continue on developing the 14 remaining sites. “We're going to show how these builders these landowners are going to spend billions of dollars and supporting the community that they're building.”

Ford vows that neither he nor his Housing Minister Steve Clark will resign, nor will there be any rollbacks on their Greenbelt Fraud. Ontario citizens may kiss his fat asshole (_*_).
Burgers, hot dogs, carnival rides and protesters roasting Doug Ford are coming to the Ford Fest in Kitchener. Ford will be at Bingemans on Sept. 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. during a free event hosted by his Progressive Conservatives. Kitchener-Conestoga MPP Mike Harris invited peons to the “free, non-partisan community event.” Its a great way to cap off the summer says he. “With its vibrant atmosphere and relaxed setting, Ford Fest offers a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with their elected representatives.” Robbed folks in Ontario are asked to register for the event and tell Ford about his corrupt governance. (One may even donate, pffffft)

The unregistered lobbyist formerly known as Mr. X is a key player in the report by Ontario's integrity commissioner. He is former Clarington Mayor John Mutton. He offered Raptors tickets and golf games to figures in the housing ministry while negotiating a $1m "Greenbelt fee" contingent on getting a parcel of land developed in Clarington. Mutton was contracted to work on getting 86 acres of land north of Nash Road out of the Greenbelt by its owner, Peter Tanenbaum. Tanenbaum purchased the property for $2.7m 20 years ago. In Sept 2022, Mutton wrote Tanenbaum saying that he had a lunch meeting with Amato and deputy chief of staff Kirstin Jensen. "Ours is the only file that I am discussing. I also have them coming to golf at Goodwood in 2 weeks with me and to a Raptors game," he said in an email.
Peter Tanenbaum
Mutton and Tanenbaum negotiated a contract on August 9, 2022, where he would be paid a $6k per month and a 'Greenbelt Fee' of $225k when final approval was obtained to remove the lands from the Greenbelt and a 'Rezoning fee' of $775k when authorization to develop the land was granted. Staffer Kirsten Jensen attended the free lunch, and said it took place on September 27, 2022 at Joey Eaton Centre. She denied discussing anything Greenbelt-related but said that Mr. X gave her a handout. Nash Road Developments Inc. is the owner of the land slated for removal from the Greenbelt in Clarington. Its president is Peter Tanenbaum.
Mutton is the President of MuniSol Inc. and Municipal Solutions Energy and Infrastructure LLC., consulting firms. He was accused multiple times of domestic abuse.

Arsène Mompoint whacked - update V

In 2021 the SQ released an image of the shooter. The hit was captured on video.
The Sûreté du Québec carried out four search warrants in Montreal in July as they investigate the death of gang leader Arsène Mompoint, who was killed in Kanesatake on July 1, 2021. The shooter got out of a grey sport utility vehicle and shot Mompoint at point blank range. A burned out van was found nearby. Mompoint, 47, was shot 3 times in the head while in a cannabis dispensary the Green Room in Kanesatake. Mompoint was linked to the Reds street gang and was the leader of 'Unit 44' a group that carried out hits for organized crime, particularly the mafia. Mompoint worked for murdered Salvatore Scoppa. Mompoint was in conflict with other top players in Montreal organized crime, including gang leader Gregory Woolley, who is close to the Sicilians.
The Sûreté du Québec released a photo of a man who wore a black cap, gray hoodie and black pants. His face is covered with a gray bandana.

The Gabriels are feared in Kanehsatake Mohawk territory, but respect there is none.
Robert Gabriel stands six feet four, with a long rap sheet that includes a pair of armed assault convictions. The owner of the Green Room was sitting beside Arsène Mompoint when 3 bullets were planted in the back of his head. Gabriel’s operation often has Hells Angels sitting out front, and there have been a long string of arsons at competing pot shops. 26 dispensaries now dot Route 344, and two more shops are set to open. More will interfere in HA business at Kanehsatake.
Gary and Robert Gabriel are famous for importing 7 times the amount of industrial waste allowed onto Mohawk territory. Robert Gabriel was first convicted of armed assault in 1988 and in 1997. His rap sheet includes convictions for aggravated assault and uttering threats. He was also sentenced to 15 months for his role in a riot in 2004.

Prolific Montreal bank robber Mounir Abou Daye sniffed out by K9

Mounir Abou Daye in 2008. “Don’t press the alarm or I will shoot you guys,” Abou Daye was quoting as having said in his latest heist.
Abou Daye, 37, admits to 19 bank robberies and has already served two long prison terms for two different series of armed robberies since 2009. He won't be sentenced as a dangerous or long-term offender for his latest bank heist despite his criminal past. The first designation could result in a convict being sentenced to an indefinite prison term. The second opens the door to the Parole Board of Canada imposing surveillance conditions for up to a decade after their prison sentence expires. Some $8,600 was placed inside grocery bags and he was off, only to get bitten stupid by a cop K9 when getting busted.

Cocaine booming, Afghanistan meth on the rise - UN

Cocaine supply is increasing to meet booming worldwide demand and meth trafficking is expanding beyond established markets, including in Afghanistan where the drug is now being produced in significant quantities. Afghanistan’s producers began experimenting with extracting ephedrine from the abundant ephedra plant, and by 2018, most local meth labs were using the plant. Costs are a fraction of those anywhere else in the world. Meth production is a growth industry. The number of people using drugs rose by 23% to 296m in 2021 from 240m in 2011 according to the annual UN World Drug Report.
Ephedra, known as oman in some areas of the country and bandak in others, grows abundantly in Afghanistan’s mountainous central highlands. It is behind the growth in the meth industry in Afghanistan. Materials are easy to obtain: the ephedra plant is legal in Afghanistan, and other chemicals like iodine, red phosphorus, and sulfuric acid, are widely available in the country. Aside from the key ingredient of ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, meth production requires only a handful of chemicals, kitchen glassware, and a gas burner. Depending on the quality of the ephedra plant, between 115 and 270 kg are required to produce 1 kg of ephedrine, which yields about two-thirds of a kilogram of meth.
The dried ephedra is ground into a flour and soaked in a mixture of water, gasoline, salt, and caustic soda for 24 hours. The solution is filtered and transferred into a metal tank. The next stage involves heating with salt, sulfuric acid, and xylene, creating a residue that looks like dried yogurt. This is ephedrine, which is sold or converted into meth through a reaction with iodine and other chemicals.

Bakwa has become the hub of the meth trade. The Taliban charge drug traffickers a tax. The report estimates the Taliban are earning millions a year from Bakwa district alone. Afghanistan produces meth at a tenth of the price of production in Southeast Asia but at comparable quality.
Ephedra is harvested in at least eight Afghan provinces, dried in the central highlands, and then sold to labs in the south and southwest where ephedrine and meth are produced. The Taliban controls virtually all Afghan drug distribution. The group has become increasingly reliant on the production of ephedrine and meth as a source of income.

Gangster moll set up drug dealer ex-husband for death

Coleen Campbell, 39, was convicted of manslaughter after plotting to have her husband Thomas Campbell robbed of cash and drugs. Thomas was ambushed by 3 men as he unlocked his front door in Mossley, Manchester in 2022. She provided information to John Belfield, mastermind of the killing.
One of the three attackers, convicted armed robber Reece Steven, 29, was found guilty of murder and jailed for life with a minimum term of 37 years. Prosecutors launched a proceeds of crime investigation to claw back some of the couple's loot. The case has been settled with Coleen Campbell ordered to pay £76,500 within three months. If she fails to pay in that period, she could have another nine months added to the 13 year prison sentence she is currently serving. Prosecutors said the sum would be paid from her equity in the couple's home, which is set to be sold off.
